Co-curricular Activities

Several skills and qualities that are instrumental to a child's holistic development are learnt outside the classroom. BSV school has a mandatory co-curricular programme that fully supports a child's learning process, The programme has five modules, each of which comprises of several activities for different age groups. All students of BSV pursue different activities under each of the moduler based on their interests.

SPORTS AND GAMES:

Besides nurturing their Capabilities, this module inculcates a spirit of healthy competition and team work in students, qualified trainers and coaches monitor the program of every child to ensure that they learn and excel at a wide range of

  • Outdoor activities- Athletics, hockey, cricket, football, volleyball, Kho-Kho, Basketball.
  • Indoor Activities- Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, Carom.

PERFORMING ARTS:

This module allows students to discover and nurture a creative spirit while learning. An involvement in performing arts help students to increase academic discipline andprovides themwithamediumfor self expression.

  • Music - Drums, Harmonium, Singing, Tabla.
  • Dance - Indian, Western.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT:

The importance of inter personal and communication skills can not be undetermined in today's competitive world. These need to be instilled in every person at a young age as it gets harder to acquire them as we grow older. The offerings under this module prepares students to handle challenging social and professional situations with confidence Debate. Elocution, Etiquette Building presentation skills communication skills.

CREATIVE INTERESTS:

Pursuing hobbies and interests is a great way to enhance one's personality and discover hidden talents. The diverse mix of activities under this module ensures that every child finds something that is of interest to him/her. Clay modelling, drawing, gardening, origami, painting, calligraphy.

SERVICE INITIATIVES:

In addition to becoming knowledgeable individuals it is crucial for children to become responsible adults under this module, students are encouraged to put other's interest before their own and get involved in selfless service for the benefit of society Community Service, Environmental Protection, Library Assistance, Newsboard Management, School Magazine.

Student's Parliament

Student’s parliament is elected to develop the skill of leadership among students. Parliament suggests in all school activities and works for one year only.

Teacher-Parent Meeting

Activeness of both teachers and parents are must for allround development of students that’s why school organises regular meeting in which suggestion of parents / Guardians are always welcome. Parents /Guardians may get information about progress of their ward at last Saturday of every month from 10 AM to 12 PM.

Diary is the mirror of a student in which his all activities are reflected routine work, home work, attendance, library details and correspondence details between school and home are mentioned in student’s diary.
